Windsor, Conn./WTIC Radio - The investigation continues into a late Saturday night fire in Windsor.
The call came in around 11:30 p.m. on a report of a bedroom fire at a home on East Barber Street.
Firefighters said were met with heavy smoke.
The occupants made it out although one person was taken to the hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
Several pets were unaccounted for but a cat and ferret were rescued.
There were no firefighter injuries.
The fire was brought under control around 1:00 a.m. Sunday.
The fire marshal's office is leading the investigation.
