West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - West Hartford firefighters had their hands full with an early morning fire.
A little after 8:00 a.m., dispatch received the report of a possible structure fire at 184 South Highland Street.
Upon arrival, crews reported a working basement fire.
The occupants inside were able to escape unharmed.
Fire officials say additional crews were called in for support and they had the fire knocked down and under control in a short period of time.
No injuries were reported.
The West Hartford fire marshal's office is leading the investigation.
