Coventry, Conn./WTIC Radio - Coventry police are charging an employee of the former Channel 3 Kids Camp with possession of child sex abuse material.
Under arrest is Mark Harrington, 62, of Vernon.
According to police, computers once owned by the camp contained the images.
The discovery was reported by the camp's IT vendor.
The find was made in January of 2025 as the computers were being destroyed following the sale of the camp.
Harrington was determined to be the suspect.
Police say thousands of files were found to have child exploitative images.
In addition, police say electronics seized from Harrington's home contained thousands more images on eight files.
Harrington is charged with possession of child sexual abuse material.
Bond was set at $20,000.
Police do stress that they don't believe the images are of children who attended the camp, rather the evidence suggests they were obtained from the internet.
