Robbing from Peter to pay Paul is one thing. Marissa Marks is accused of robbing from PTO to pay for personal stuff.
During the three years she was president of the Somers Parent Teacher Organization, police say siphoned off close to $21,000 from a scholastic book fair fund.
Instead of buying books, police say Marks went shopping -- buying stuff from Amazon, Yankee Candle, Costco, Party City, and on and on. Marks is free on a $10,000 bond, with a June 14 court date.
