Fourteen-year-old boy shot in Waterbury

Police responding to a shooting over the weekend found a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound lying in the hallway of a multi-family home in Waterbury.
The teen is hospitalized with life threatening injuries at Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
He is listed in stable condition.
A 35-year-old suspect identified as Axel Maldonado of Waterbury is being held on a $1 million bond.
Maldonado is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
