BURLINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Funeral arrangements have been made for fallen Burlington Volunteer Firefighter Colin McFadden.
Burlington Fire Chief Mike Boucher announced on Sunday services for McFadden will begin Wednesday, with calling hours from 3 - 8 p.m. at the Funk Funeral Home in Bristol.
Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Saint Matthew Church in Bristol, followed by burial at Saint Joseph Cemetery, also in Bristol.
McFadden was among responders at the destructive New Hartford House fire early Tuesday morning. While responding, he fell seriously ill. It turned out he had been suffering from a previously undiagnosed, rare form of Leukemia. He died Thursday morning.
