MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Connecticut State Police are investigating gunfire that damaged two cars in Middletown.
Police say around 10 a.m. Monday, the drivers of two cars stopped at two separate locations to report gunfire hit their cars near Exit 20 on I-91 Southbound in Middletown.
Broken glass from one of the cars' windows injured one of the drivers.
One of the victims stopped at State Police Headquarters in Middletown, and the other victim stopped on East Main Street in Meriden.
Bullet strikes were located on both vehicles.
Police haven't said whether the shootings were random, targeted, or related.
