NEWINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Newington Police are investigating after someone crashed an SUV into Hoffman's Guns for the Good Guys and stole several guns during overnight hours.
Police say it happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hoffman's on the Berlin Turnpike.
The suspect crashed a Nissan Rogue into the front doors of the building.
Police describe the driver and suspect as a heavy-set man around 6'3'' wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, white sneakers, and a black face mask.
The suspect took off on foot.
