DURHAM, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a deadly crash in Durham.
State Police say Steven Jefferson, 34, of Hamden, crossed over the center line of Route 17 around 4:47 p.m. Thursday, sending him into opposing traffic.
Jefferson struck a vehicle head-on. The vehicle he hit spun out and crashed with a third vehicle.
Emergency personnel found Jefferson unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at Middlesex Hospital around 5:31 p.m.
The cause of the crash hasn't been determined.
