Hamden Police are investigating a shooting that killed one and injured another Saturday night.
Officers responded to a shots fired report in the 300 block of Goodrich Street around 8:45 p.m. Saturday night. Witnesses report hearing "10 shots."
Police say John Ratliff, 28, of Hamden, was killed. A 23-year-old Hamden resident was injured and treated at Yale New Haven Hospital.
The investigation remains active and open.
