Hamden is not joining its fellow Connecticut communities Bridgeport and Windsor--now now--in demanding that President Biden
call for a Gaza cease-fire.
Hamden's Town council is now tabling its own cease-fire resolution -- putting off a vote on it until a yet-to-be-determined date.
The Council's delay follows a public hearing that Councilman Abdul Osmanu calls "a little bit rowdy," with dozens of people speaking,
some dressed in Palestinian flags, others in Israel's colors blue and white.
Osmanu had drafted the resolution, which calls for an immediate cease-fire and the release of all hostages.
While nothing was done about his resolution, Osmanu says the hearing aired out some of the feelings and overall grief.
