HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford police say a city man is dead after a one-car crash early Sunday morning on Locust Street.
Carlos Rivas, 25, was the only person in the 1999 Honda Civic when it slammed into a tree around 2 a.m.
Police say the car was speeding before it lost control and crashed.
Rivas was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
