Hartford police investigate late night, early morning shootings

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Between Monday evening and Tuesday morning, three victims were treated for gunshot wounds at a local hospital in Hartford and police are now investigating.

At about 4:08 a.m. Tuesday, Hartford officers got a shot spotter activation alert around 1497 Albany Avenue.

While investigating the area, police said two gunshot victims arrived at an area hospital for treatment.

A man in his thirties was listed in critical but stable condition, police said. A woman in her thirties was also listed in stable condition, they said.

About five hours earlier, at around 10:47 p.m. Monday, police were dispatched to 867 New Britain Avenue on a report of a shooting.

Officers located a male in his thirties suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived, police said.

The victim was transported to the hospital, police said, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.

Hartford police are investigating both shootings.
