Hartford Public Library system opens as cooling center

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - As temperatures rise, Hartford Public Library (HPL) will serve as a cooling center for the community during the high heat and humidity expected over the next few days.

The HPS is encouraging those needing relief from the heat to visit one of the locations below to use it as a cooling center during their regular operating schedule.

Downtown Library
