Storrs, Conn./WTIC Radio - It looks like Dan Hurley will be sticking around Storrs for a while.
UConn has announced the men's basketball coach has agreed to a two-year contract extension.
That would keep Hurley at the university through 2032.
The 53-year-old inked his current pact in 2024, a six-year deal worth $50 million.
He has posted a 199-75 record as he enters his ninth season at the UConn helm.
UConn athletic director David Benedict said "Dan has proven to be the very best coach in men's college basketball and we're thrilled to keep him home at UConn."
Hurley said "It's an incredible honor to coach the game I love at a place like the University of Connecticut."
The Huskies open the 2026-27 season against Gardner-Webb at the PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford.
