WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Waterbury Police are investigating a husband's attempted murder of his wife Monday evening in Waterbury.
Police say they responded around 8:05 p.m. to reports of a vehicle chase involving two vehicles on Wolcott Street. Both of the involved vehicles were found in the area of Piedmont Street.
Trevor Watson, 26, of Waterbury, is charged in connection with the attempted murder of his wife during the incident.
She was found assaulted, according to police. The woman is currently hospitalized where she's listed in stable condition.
Watson is facing charges of criminal attempt at murder, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree assault, first-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, violation of a protective order, and various motor vehicle charges.
