
Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Hartford police spent part of their Saturday cracking down on illegal dirt bike operators.
The detail included, among others, members of the Hartford Police Community Crime Suppression Team and Community Service Officers.
The enforcement took place city wide.
Officers rounded nine suspects among several large groups of individuals, police said, who were operating dirt bikes that flooded the streets and were being driven recklessly.
Five illegal dirt bikes were seized.
Police said charges also included possession of crack cocaine and fentanyl, as well as for possession of a stolen firearm.
