Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - The interim chancellor of the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system has resigned.
John Maduko was notified last week that he'd been the subject of an investigation.
He was placed on administrative leave on Friday.
Maduko was informed that he'd been under investigation for violating policy.
A statement from the Connecticut Board of Regents did not specify why Maduko was being investigated.
Maduko took over on a one-year term last June when former chancellor Terrence Cheng transitioned to a new role.
Cheng was called out in an audit for questionable expenses during his tenure as chancellor.
