Waterbury, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-A Naugatuck man died in a single vehicle accident on Route 8 in Waterbury Tuesday afternoon.
State Police said 18-year old Rian Andrade was driving on Route Eight north near exit 30 just after 2:30. He was in the left lane, drove through the grass median and collided with a metal guardrail. He later died at Waterbury Hospital.
At the time, the crash closed the highway for two hours.
