
Manchester, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Manchester have made arrests in a burglary case from over the weekend at the Shoppes at Buckland Hills.
Officers say they got the call to Macy's in the shopping center late Saturday evening where a loss prevention officer noticed three masked individuals filling backpacks with merchandise from the jewelry department.
The three were spotted on surveillance.
Police saw two of the juvenile suspects who tried to make a run for it and they were arrested.
A third juvenile was found hiding in the store.
A State Police K9 and South Windsor police assisted in hauling in the third suspect.
All are facing a litany of charges including burglary, trespass, and larceny among others.
Officers say they recovered about $7,800 in merchandise from the attempted heist.
