State police seek witnesses to 'erratic' driving ahead of homicide at law office

LITCHFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Connecticut State Police are looking for witnesses to any possible "erratic" driving between two cars before a Monday afternoon homicide at a law office in Litchfield.

Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who was traveling eastbound on Route 202 (West Street) in Litchfield between 4:30 and 5 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021.

The vehicles in question are described as a 2002 brown Saab 9-3SE and a 2016 Audi A5 convertible. Both vehicles have Connecticut registration.

Matthew Bromley, 39, was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Cramer and Anderson law firm around 5 p.m. Monday.

Attorney Robert Fischer, with the Cramer and Anderson practice, is called a "subject" in the investigation, not a suspect.
