Windsor, Conn./WTIC Radio - Windsor High School was placed into lockdown for a time Thursday.
Just before 11:00 a.m., police received information that a student was in a bathroom possibly armed with a handgun.
The student was identified and located shortly after police arrived.
It was determined that the firearm was a facsimile.
The 16-year-old student faces a breach of peace charge and was released to the custody of a parent.
The lockdown was in place for about half an hour and there were no injuries.
