Middletown, Conn./WTIC Radio - Later today, machinists with Pratt and Whitney plan to rally over a plan they say forces them to take unpaid furlough days this year.
Members with machinists Local 700 and 1746 are opposing management's decision to force them to take the days ahead of contract negotiations this spring.
The current three year contract expires in May.
The rally gets underway at 12:30 p.m. at the Middletown Pratt and Whitney facility on aircraft road.
