Winsted, Conn./WTIC Radio - There's been an arrest in connection with the stabbing death of a beloved cafe owner in Winsted.
Carrie Stetson's estranged husband Leon Stetson, 67, was charged with murder Friday from his hospital bed.
In addition to murder, Leon Stetson is charged with violating a protective order and home invasion.
State police say Carrie Stetson, 54, died from "sharp force injuries."
Leon Stetson was found with serious injuries at the scene.
She was found in a home on Oak Street on June 8 after someone reported finding blood in a bathroom.
An arrest warrant says Leon Stetson tried to take his own life after killing Carrie.
It also says Carrie did not feel safe due to Leon Stetson's "increasingly volatile and dangerous" behavior.
Bond was set at $3 million.
