Connecticut State Police say they caught a middle aged man playing in the middle of the road.
Essentially, forty nine year old Leonard Kroher is accused of playing in traffic.
State Police came across Kroher after getting several calls from people about
someone playing with a toy car on a Berlin road. Callers saw someone
running after the little car -- across the northbound lanes of Route Nine.
When they got there, they found Kroher sitting in his real car, pulled over on an entrance ramp to the highway. It did not take them long to also spot the remote controlled car in the passenger compartment.
Kroher's been freed on a five thousand dollar bond.
He'll have to find some real transportation for his next court date -- August 19th.
