Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Hartford police say they've cracked a nearly eight-year-old murder case.
They say with the help of U.S. Marshals, they've arrested Rakeem Grant, 37, of Vernon.
He's charged in the March 8, 2017 shooting death of 26-year-old Stephen Payne.
He was found on Alan Green Way with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
An arrest warrant was secured last month charging Grant with the murder.
He's being held on $2 million bond.
