Norwalk, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police in Norwalk have arrested a man in connection with a recent assault at an LGBTQ bar in the city.
Under arrest is Carmen Everett Parisi.
He was taken into custody today after an investigation into the September 23rd incident.
Although there were allegations of disparaging remarks made by Parisi toward management and others in the bar that night, police say video footage of the incident did not indicate any "findings of any racial,
religious, ethnic, or sexual orientation (RRES) language or indication of any anti-LGBTQ motivation associated with the assault."
Parisi is charged with two counts of assault and being held on $75,000 bond.
Officials are expected to address the incident during a Thursday press conference at Norwalk Police headquarters.
