New Britain, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police at Central Connecticut State University have made an arrest in connection with the death of a student last winter.
They say 21-year-old Bio-molecular science major Saradina Redman, a native of Indonesia, was found unresponsive in her dorm room on February 26th.
Now under arrest is 22-year-old Brandon Maynard of Danbury.
CCSU detectives completed a months long investigation that led them to charge Maynard with manslaughter and sale of narcotics.
In a statement, the university said "President Zulma Toro once again expresses her condolences to the Redman family for their loss and extends her gratitude to the dedicated staff of the university police department for pursuing this case."
Maynard was arraigned on the charges last week in New Britain Superior Court.
