New Britain, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in New Britain are charging a man following a crash Tuesday night.
In addition, officers say Jose Rios, 52, of New Britain fled the scene after another person was injured.
According to Mayor Erin Stewart's office, Rios turned himself in this morning.
The crash occurred in the area of Park and Stanley Streets around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Bruce Cote, 59 of New Britain died.
Police are charging Rios with murder, criminal attempt at murder, assault and other motor vehicle offenses.
