West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - West Hartford police have made an arrest in connection with vandalism stemming from a protest last month of the Israel Hamas war.
Protestors against Israel took to the streets on January 21 marching through West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square.
It was during that march that police say a number of protestors vandalized the exterior of a LaSalle Road building with red paint.
Police have charged Hicham Talal, 24, of West Haven with intimidation based on bigotry or bias and criminal mischief.
Talal is free on $50,000 and is due in court in Hartford next month.
West Hartford police say the investigation remains active and ongoing.
