
Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Waterbury have made an arrest in connection with a homicide investigation.
They are charging city resident David Morkis, 36, following a five month investigation.
Police say on November 23 of last year, Morkis and Paul Barillaro, 57, of Waterbury, were involved in an altercation.
Barillaro's body was found in the rear of the Brass Mill Center Mall on Union Street.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled Barillaro's death a homicide.
Now, Morkis is facing a manslaughter charge.
Police say Morkis is currently behind bars on unrelated charges.
He was due to be arraigned Thursday on the manslaughter charge.
