West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - West Hartford police are charging a man in connection with a vehicle versus school bus crash in town last spring.
It was just after 4:00 p.m. April 26 when officers responded to North Main Street and Miller Road.
That's when they say a car driven Nelson Martinez, 37, of Colchester collided with the school bus.
He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
No one on board the bus was injured.
Investigators are now charging Martinez with reckless endangerment, operating under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, and reckless driving.
Bond was set at $25,000.
Martinez is due in court September 14.
