Torrington, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police are charging a Torrington man with driving the wrong way on Route 8 Sunday afternoon.
Troopers say Darwin Perez-Toalongo, 27, was driving south in the northbound lanes near exit 51 just before 4:00 p.m.
That's where investigators say he hit another vehicle.
There were minor injuries.
Troopers say Perez-Toalongo failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.
He's charged with reckless driving, OUI, and driving the wrong way on a divided highway.
Perez-Toalongo is free on bond and due in court later this month.
