Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Hartford police are charging a city man with being in possession of child sex abuse materials.
Earlier this year, detectives launched an investigation into Nelson Valle, 50, of Union Place in Hartford.
It was determined that Valle had allegedly utilized the dark web to download and share videos that had been flagged as child sex abuse material.
Officers say numerous electronic devices were seized and over one thousand images were discovered on them.
He's facing a charge of possession of child sexual abuse material in the first degree.
Bond was set at $300,000 bond.
