
West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police say a man died Saturday when the motorcycle he was operating crashed on Interstate 84 in West Hartford.
Troopers say around 12:45 p.m., Joey Roldan, 43, of East Hartford, somehow lost control of the bike as he was traveling westbound near exit 40.
Investigators say Roldan was thrown from the vehicle, which fell on its side and landed partially in the left lane.
Roldan wound up in the left shoulder and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash had the highway shut down while investigators processed the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
