Vernon, Conn./WTIC Radio - A Hartford man accused of killing a motel attendant nearly five years ago has been found guilty of murder.
It was June 27, 2021 that Alvin Waugh got into an argument over the price of a swimming pool pass at a Motel 6 in Vernon.
The attendant, Zeshan Chaudhry, told Waugh to leave.
That's when Waugh returned this his room, retrieved a homemade semi-automatic pistol, and fired 11 shots into Chaudhry before he fled on foot.
In addition to murder, Waugh was also found guilty of carrying a pistol without a permit.
He's due to be sentenced April 10 in Rockville Superior Court.
