HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police say the suspect vehicle in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash in Hartford was found on fire.
Police responded to the area of Main Street and Tower Avenue around 11:55 p.m. Wednesday night, where Lutricia Daniels, 40, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, was found struck by a car that fled the scene.
Daniels was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses described the evading vehicle to police as a red Honda Accord.
State Police later found that Honda, according to Hartford Police, engulfed in flames and unoccupied on I-384 Eastbound, near Exit 2 in Manchester.
