STAMFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a deadly crash in Stamford.
Troopers say Emmanuel Pierre, 26, of Worcester, Massachusetts, was driving a 2017 Nissan Rogue in the far right lane on I-95 Northbound near Exit 8 when the car lost control for unknown reasons.
The Nissan then crossed all three lanes of the highway, at which time it slammed into the center concrete barrier in the median and came to a stop in the center and right lanes.
Pierre was transported to Stamford Hospital for treatment but later died.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
