Meriden, Conn./WTIC Radio - Meriden police have charged a man in connection with a pair of bomb threats from last winter.
The threats to Jonal Labs were made less than two weeks apart, one on February 9th and the other on February 21.
In both incidents, police say a lab employee, 29-year-old Gamalier Santiago, phoned in the threats that prompted huge responses.
Businesses and residences were evacuated, rail traffic was shut down, and lab employees were forced to wait out in the cold or on buses while bomb sniffing canines swept the area.
Numerous agencies including Meriden and the state police, Amtrak and the FBI investigated.
Santiago faces two counts each of threatening when he's returned to Connecticut from South Hadley, Massachusetts.
In addition, Santiago's mother faces a charge of interfering in the case.
