MONTVILLE, CONN. (WTIC Radio)-A Montville woman has been charged with manslaughter following an untimely death investigation that happened October 13, 2022, according to Connecticut state Police.
Police responded to Leffingwell Road just before 1:30 PM. They discovered an unresponsive male, aged 64. EMS responded and pronounced him deceased.
After an investigation and interviews, State Police arrested Diane Nobleza, 55, the victim's live-in girlfriend. She first told authorities the man hit his head on the refrigerator.
She later admitted that they had argued and that she pushed him and he hit his head.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner ruled the man suffered blunt force trauma to his head and torso.
Nobleza has also been charged with intentional cruelty to persons, breach of peace and and first degree assault to the elderly.
She appears in Norwich Superior Court today.
