Bloomfield, Conn./WTIC Radio - There was an increased police presence at Bloomfield schools on Tuesday after a message perceived as threatening was posted to TikTok on Sunday.
The department's detective bureau was made aware of the posting via the FBI's Guardian notification system.
That notification indicated the user may be originating in Bloomfield but didn't specify any particular school or locations.
The school system, CREC and the Bloomfield superintendent were notified of the information received by police.
The investigation is ongoing.
