The latest virus found in Connecticut is the one that causes the most severe disease transmitted by mosquitoes in this country.
E-E-E - Eastern Equine Encephalitis - has now been found in mosquitoes in a half dozen Connecticut communities,, including Hampton,
Killingly and Tolland.
Getting one of these mosquito bites can kill you or result in brain damage. Around here, the last EEE outbreak in New England four years ago killed 19 people.
An even more widespread danger is West Nile Fever, with the virus behind that now showing up in mosquitoes in close to three dozen Connecticut communities.
