Hebron, Conn(WTIC Radio)-Continued acts of racial hatred have prompted NAACP President Scott Esdaile to call for further investigations, initiated by the most recent incident, a noose found in the locker room at
RHAM High School.

Esdaile points to a noose at an Amazon construction site in Windsor last December as another example where law enforcement fails to take action. "Eight nooses, an incident in Simsbury with students, all across the state, every month there are incidents, but we see nobody put in jail."

Esdaile said we have the hate crime bill. "We just need the will of the police departments to lock these individuals up. This has been going on for a long time. Sometimes you think you're somewhere in Mississippi, Texas or Alabama."

Esdaile pans to meet this afternoon with RHAM High School officials.
