Haddam, Conn./WTIC Radio - The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has released the name of a man whose body was found last week in the Connecticut River in Haddam.
Steven Bauer was from Middletown.
Authorities say the 69-year-old was found in the water around 2:30 p.m. December 30th at Haddam Meadows State Park.
Bauer was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
The medical examiner is conducting tests to determine an exact cause of death.
