All of a sudden, Hamden -- hometown of Quinnipiac's Bobcats -- is the nation's capital of college men's ice hockey.
The Bobcats beat Minnesota at the finals in Tampa over the weekend, and were greeted by fans like senior Nick Antoniadis, who said, "I never thought we were going to win because we were up against these powerhouse schools, but we ended up winning it." And, sophomore Sam Sherman, too. Also on WFSB Channel 3. "It was a great honor and a great game. It was definitely all over; all the love."
Tonight begins with an on-campus rally in Hamden at 6:00, to cheer on the Bobcats.
