New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - A lieutenant in the New Haven Fire Department has been arrested for alleged sexual assault.
Police say Keith Norfleet, 33, is charged.
Detectives began investigating the alleged incident last December, involving a 32-year-old female victim.
Norfleet turned himself in on Friday and is charged with first degree sexual assault.
He is free on $150,000 bond and was arraigned today.
New Haven fire chief John Alston says Norfleet is now on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
