New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - A New Haven woman is under arrest after New Haven police say she stabbed a man on a city street on Friday.
Just before noon, officers were dispatched to Chapel and Sherman streets on a threatening report.
They say Melissa Healey, 26, pulled a knife and stabbed the 71-year-old victim after he gave her money, which she apparently didn't think was enough.
The victim broke his leg while running away and she allegedly stabbed him in the back.
He sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Healey was restrained by those in the area.
She faces a host of charges including assault on an elderly person, robbery and carrying a dangerous weapon.
