WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a deadly crash that killed a New York man early Monday morning.
Troopers say the driver of a tractor trailer slammed into the back of a BMW 320 that Tamek Nelson, 30, of New York, NY, was driving in the right lane of I-84 Eastbound near Exit 44 around 1:29 a.m.
The big rig and the BMW became stuck together and both went off the side of the highway.
Nelson was pronounced dead around 2:15 a.m. at Hartford Hospital.
