Naugatuck, Conn./WTIC Radio - A New York State man is under arrest, charged with a sexual assault in Naugatuck last October.
The alleged incident took place at the Mountainview Plaza parking lot.
Police say Joseph Montalvo, Jr., 21, of Hopewell Junction, New York had met the victim through social media a year earlier but the two had not met in person.
Naugatuck police say Montalvo refused to bring the victim home unless she had sex with him.
They say "unwanted violent acts" were committed against the victim.
Montalvo was arrested by East Fishkill, New York police and extradited back to Connecticut.
He faces charges of sexual assault and unlawful restraint.
Bond was set at $250,000.
