A newborn baby was listed in critical but stable condition
at Connecticut Children's Medical Center after being found unresponsive
by Hartford Police across the street from the hospital in a car seat.
Fire crews were also on the scene, and performed CPR on the infant after
no pulse was detected.
Police say they came across the baby just hours after being born.
The mother is reported to be under arrest and has relinquished her
parental rights, while the father is described as "on the run."
